 * Caleb,
 * The change works! I’ve been able to put through a cart with 30 different items
   and it works just fine (we changed 9 to 99). I am sure this change would benefit
   many of your users and would encourage you to incorporate it or something similar
   in the code (perhaps a max different cart items variable in the PayPal Settings
   area of WooCommerce?).
 * Also, we did reach the original developer of our site and he found in his notes
   that he made a similar change to the code (in ver. 2.2.11 at the time). In the
   few years that code was running, many carts with more than 9 items when through
   without issue. (We are a seed shop, so selling 20 or 30 or more packets of different
   types of seed at once is common.)
 * And in my searching for any 9 item limit documentation, all I could find was
   a woocommerce github thread from 5 years ago which shows the limit to be an uncertain
   one even then – [https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/3124](https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/3124)
 * Thanks for your help in all of this!
 * Jerome

 * Caleb,
 * It does appear to be the lime item limit that we are now running into. As soon
   as I get the cart item count to 9 or less, PayPal shows the whole list in the
   cart that it gets. We may try modifying line 367 of the code in that file (appears
   to be the item limit) on our dev site to see what happens.
 * If you come up with further documentation on the 9 item limit, we would love
   to see it.
 * The original developer of the site is no longer available, but it is possible
   that they had modified the older plugin.

 * Caleb,
 * Your link leads to documentation stating that PayPal has a nine line item limit—
   Can you point to any documentation at PayPal for that? I’ve looked and have not
   been able to find any. PayPal was accepting orders without issue that had 20
   or more line items before we updated WooCommerce.
 * Thanks!
