I was then able to access the site and admin area. When I went to the plugins area the wp- cache was not listed and all of the other plugins were deactivated. When I went back to wp-options.active_plugins the field only had a:1:{0} (or soemthing very similar, previously it contained data for all of the plugins. * Anyway, when I went back to the control panel and tried to activate another plugin( that had previously been active), I ended up with a blank screen after clicking activate, and now the entire site is back to being blank. * So I think I’ve screwed this up enough already. I’m working on the backup now.
