Hello Thomas!
I had (perhaps) the same or nearly the same problem as described before:
I am using WordPress 5.5.3 and the Classic Editor 1.6 as a plugin.My problem was this:
When editing an article (URL: …/wp-admin/post.php?post=XXX&action=edit ) I couldn’t- add a new category
- add a new tag
- change the view of the posting screen or accessing the help (right beneath the admin bar there are these “pop down-windows” called “Ansicht anpassen” (change view) and “Hilfe” (help) in the German translation)
Since it was a very new installation it was easy to track down the issue which was related to ISC.
But as you can imagine: With using ISC 2.0 alpha it works!
Therefore: Thank you for your plugin and your support!
And since perhaps other persons have this problem, too, I’ve tried to describe itForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Shariff Wrapper] (Option) Shortlink beim Twitter-SharingHallo JP!

In reply to: [Shariff Wrapper] (Option) Shortlink beim Twitter-Sharing@jp:
<link rel='shortlink' href='http://eigentliche_shorturl' />

Hello Jeremy,
I’ve tried to reproduce the wrong behavior (and then to try it without the cache plugin), but “unfortunately” now it works without problems. I will try it again the next time I cannot de-select Facebook.
Thanks for the feedback regarding the mobile theme – I’ve tried to deactivate the cache now for mobile websites. But normally you shouldn’t have seen the mobile theme (when I am accessing my page as anonymous user I see the normal theme).

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] WordPress Stats all gone…Thank you Jeremy!
The .eu domain was my “playground” for the new blog layout and since I cloned the original blog (pottblog.de) the connection was there, too.
I’ve disconnected and reconnected and now I have the old stats again.
Just one question: Is it somehow possible to merge the old with the accidentally created stats? Because now some days are missing.
Bye,

Now it works. I’ve closed another tool to publish to my Google+ page (although I think that it shouldn’t be related to this issue), broke the connection between WordPress/Google+ and reconnected.And now it works. Great! 🙂

In reply to: [Async JS and CSS] Plugin is making images disappear on all 3 sitesI’ve seen this behaviour, too.
When I tick “Load CSS asynchronously” in the settings some images won’t be shown. As an example some artwork which is needed for my mobile theme (therefore the mobile layout looks very weird when the option is activated).
@jeremy Herve:
Hm. When I’ve selected the Google+ page I got this authorization window:http://s14.directupload.net/file/d/3485/grtp9im7_png.htm
There you cannot find any things about a page – it differs to the screenshot posted at http://jetpack.me/support/publicize/google/.
@jermey Herve (sorry, for the delay):
I’ve tried it again and now I am connected to my personal Google+ profile and to my Google+ page (and yes, I am a manager of this site, I could access it thru your URL with the correct page ID).I will try it again. Do you have your test Google+ page, so I can see how it should like?
Bye
Jens@jeremy:
No, I won’t get the option to choose where to publish. But my Google+ account is an administrator for my Google+ page.Could it somehow be related to the fact that I am using Google Apps for your domain?
Anything new, since today a new update of Publicize has been published?
Any news or some sort of a schedule?
@jeremy Herve:
Tried again (with this article: http://www.pottblog.de/2013/08/22/barcamp-kiel-2013-toll-gerne-2014-wieder-aber-ohne-umsteigen/ ) – but only the link not the featured image will be shown.
