 * I have gone through some of the stuff on the page that you suggestd and I have
   gotten a pretty good feel of how conditionals work but I am still wondering how
   would one of them be able to help me. How do I write a code or come up with a
   solution that involves conditionals (or not) where “the first image on every 
   post that comes before the content or after the post title only shows up in the
   frontpage and not on any other pages”. This is basically what I am trying to 
   do. Help me out. I am using the News theme by the way.
