 * Your insights helped. There was a plugin from my theme maker named **Meks Flexible
   Shortcodes** was causing the issue. Have deleted the plugin. All well now. Thank

   for your guidance!

 * Well , I forgot to mention that Scheduled backup is getting completed and the
   restoration page doesn’t come in shadow screen, it comes in clear screen upon
   first click.
