 * You mention updates being done, but it’s unlikely to be related to that. There’s
   an error message on your website that explains in a bit more detail.
 * > This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.
   > php file is incorrect or that contact with the database server at shareddb-
   > f.hosting.stackcp.net could not be established. This could mean your host’s
   > database server is down.
   > – Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
   >  – Are you sure 
   > you have typed the correct hostname? – Are you sure the database server is 
   > running?
   > If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.

 * Did you check for the email as instructed?
 * The best thing to do would be to check the error logs via cPanel/your hosting
   provider – this will usually flag up the offending factor. It could be any number
   of things (such as a plugin) causing the issue.
