 * Yes, thanks–you’re right. It is a fantastico install–I just got confused ‘cuz
   I was looking at WP’s instructions. Didn’t realize I didn’t need to take those
   steps. Sorry for wasting everyone’s time.

 * Heh. Thanks (I’m a girl!) for bearing with me. Yeah, I tried downloading the 
   WordPress file from bluehost and I just get the “Preparing to Download” window
   for hours. I guess this is a bluehost problem now. I thought maybe there was 
   some other way to open/download the WordPress file.

 * Hmmm. I used Fantastico to zap WordPress onto bluehost. I see the WordPress folder
   on my server, but don’t see how to use Notepad to open the folder.

 * Thanks for the response. Sorry to be so thick–where is the root “wordpress”? 
   I do understand about the text editor (I have Notepad ++).
