 * just got off the phone with support – said there is no differences in the move
   from server to server (both apache).

 * yes, that’s easy. I’ve been using wordpress for over 3 years. never seen anything
   like this before. someone on another forum said it might be an htaccess issue…
   
   someone actually wrote this on another forum
