    Thanks @pacoflaco and @abitofmind for the input.

    @pacoflaco : setting everything at less than 30 days (in seconds) seems to have done the trick ! I have set all to 2505600 seconds and let it run over the last few days.

    All my page folders now have an active html and gzip cache that is recently (in the last few hours) created by the cache preloading. And no folders with only “_old” files.

    Thank you for your response !

    1. Purge Log is a W3 PRO feature. I am using the free version.
    2. I do not have ONLY _old files. It’s a mix. Some page cache folders have ONLY “_old” files. Some page cache folders have both the actual html + gzip AND “_old” files. Some page cahe folders have ONLY the actual html + gzip
    3. But whatever files any page cache folder has, they are all maximum a few hours old.
    4. I am not actively purging cache. And there are no actions taken that could trigger a purge (i.c. a post being published), I think.

    My current settings for cache preload are

    • automatically prime page cache: yes
    • update interval 900 seconds
    • pages per interval: 10
    • sitemap url : the full url to the yoast generated sitemap_index
    • preload post cache upon publish events: yes

    My questions now are:

    1. I would assume that all page cache stays active until it either expires or gets purged. Is that a correct assumption ? (and if so, what triggers the expiration of a page cache ? the “expires header lifetime” ? Or something else ?)
    2. Is a cache purge automatically done every time the automatic cache preload cycle starts ?

    I fully agree. The functionality, as it was prior to 6.x, was working fine.

    Release notes of the very new 6.0.2 mention “FIXED – PRICES & CURRENCIES – Wholesale Price – Fixed Cart message appearing on 0 discount.”

    But unfortunately, the problem persists. Still adding products at 0 euro when qty < wholesale qty

    Currently the only way to make it work, seems to be a double effort: 1) make a level 1 qty = 1 for the regular price in the booster module AND 2) set the exact same price also in the regular woocommere product pricing.

    The reason is that the single product page shows the woocommerce pricing (not the booster pricing). But the pricing in the cart is the booster pricing.

    So, yeah, now you have to maintain the same information in two separate locations.

    In addition (and much more problematic): from booster plus 6.0.0 onwards the bulk action “merge print invoice” option does not work anymore: all invoices in the created pdf do not show the invoice date nor invoice number.

    Opening the individual invoices still works fine.

    Seems like some variables had their name changed ?

    Hello,

    I have sent all the requested information to support at booster dot io. (as I do not want to expose all that data here). But that mailaddress is not monitored anymore. Where can I send it safely ?

    In addition: I ran a test in which I deactivated each woocommerce related plugin except for booster plus and woocommerce itself. The problem persists. The problem seems really seems to be booster plus 6.0.0 (and up)

    These are indeed the time stamps of when the orders came in and the issue happened.

    Moreover, I noted in my initial message that some cases (f.e. the status changes from ‘pending’ to ‘on-hold’ because the customer chose a deferred payment by manual bank transfer), the correct emails are sent without any problem. I had one such order on 9/2/21. For that order, there is no mentioning in the above error log.

    So, most probably, above are indeed the errors for my problem !

    Thanks for the reply !

    I am a bit surprised that it seems to be an exceptional issue. Since it appeared quite suddenly and on all my sites at the same time, I would have imagined more people had the same problem.

    Maybe the title of this support post was not clear or catchy enough to attract attention from other people experiencing the same?
    Is there any way to change the title to “New Order mail not sent – woocommerce_order_status_changed problem”

    (or do I wait and repost it after some time ?)

    I saw that in the documentation, but that option was not visible in my back end. Seemed that I simply had to update the plugin.

    Well, no. The point of the button is to direct the user to the single product page instead of adding the product to the cart.

    But anyway, I found the solution. Simply omitting ‘product_type_simple’ from the list of classes.

    Thanks. After trying out lots of things, it seems the culprit is not really another plugin or theme. It’s an extra code snippet in the functions.php :

    add_action( 'woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item', 'my_woocommerce_template_loop_add_to_cart', 10 );

    The thing that puzzles me is the fact that this should have no effect on the single product page. The code adds a ‘more info’ button to the products in the category view (like the shop pages).

    Even stranger: even if I explicitly state that the code should not run on the specific single product page with the price calculation, it has no effect.

    Any ideas why this very small piece of code is messing up uni cpo?
    (I’ve been using this snippet for years)
