 * Hi Helga,
 * No caching installed yet, but I am using a plugin called Ultimate Membership 
   Pro. When I disable it, the menu works as normal. But I have no idea how to find
   out what in the plugin is causing Nav Menu Roles to not work.

 * Just tried another thing. I set permissions for the cache and autoptimize folder
   to 777 and still didn’t work.

 * I should also mention i deactivated all plugins and set wordpress to a default
   theme and that also didn’t work. And i’m using php 5.6 i believe.
