 * Hi
 * I delted the previous child theme and created a new one.
    Now the blog page works
   but the main navigation is not working at all as you can see online.
 * I only copied the previous style.css and saved into a new child theme which I
   now called twentytwelve-child.
 * Any idea why the navigation is not working properly?
 * The blog page it is now working?

 * If I deactivate all pluins th eproblem persists.
 * But when I switched to the default theme Twenty Twelve, the dedicated webpage
   for the blog was there!
 * I now swtiched back to my child theme and the problem is still there.

 * I have inserted the codes for debugging into the wp-config.php file but no debug.
   log was created.
 * I am using ‘static front page’ and a ‘posts page’ under ‘dashboard – settings–
   reading’
 * I have also checked the template files:
 * for the “home” page the template is set to “Default Template”
 * for the “blog” page, I cannot see the option to set which template file to use

   have the “no parent” option.
