 * Hey [@kolgenpav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kolgenpav/),
 * Thanks for checking that.
 * In my experience, issues like this often require ongoing follow-up, and it may
   be difficult to handle fully here in the forum. If you head over to [https://www.wpallimport.com/support](https://www.wpallimport.com/support)
   and contact support there, we’ll do our best to take care of you.

 * Hi [@kolgenpav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kolgenpav/),
 * I tried to reproduce the issue in a very similar setup, but I still wasn’t able
   to replicate it. The only thing I couldn’t match was your theme. Just to confirm,
   did you test with your theme disabled and a default WordPress theme active?

 * Hi [@kolgenpav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kolgenpav/),
 * Could you please remove the site export (SQL/ZIP) from that share link? For security
   reasons, site exports shouldn’t be shared on the forum.
 * Instead, please provide the following:
    - Inline screenshots showing the issue you were demonstrating in the share link
    - Any relevant errors from your server or PHP logs (your host can help check
      these)
    - Your Site Health information (Tools › Site Health › Info tab)
 * You can copy the Site Health info into a pastebin or gist, then share the link
   in this thread. Before doing that, please review it first and remove any information
   you’re not comfortable sharing on this public forum.
 * Also, if you’re using any caching or CDN, please temporarily disable it and test
   again to see if that fixes it.

 * Hey [@mcdeth](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mcdeth/),
 * > Could you please clarify if it’s safe to remove them regularly (e.g., via a
   > custom cron job)?
 * Yes, as long as there are no imports running.
 * > Is there any way to limit or prevent their creation?
 * No, they’re required for the import, but the same process that creates them also
   attempts to delete them, so you should check with your web host to see if there’s
   a permission issue on the server that’s preventing that.

 * Hi [@kolgenpav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kolgenpav/),
 * Thanks for this. The issue in the latest version looks like a conflict. I tested
   on my own site and couldn’t replicate it.
 * Can you please set up a staging copy of your site and run a conflict test (disable
   other plugins and switch to a default WordPress theme)? See instructions here:
   [https://learn.wordpress.org/lesson/troubleshooting-your-site-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/](https://learn.wordpress.org/lesson/troubleshooting-your-site-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/).

 * Hi [@kolgenpav](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kolgenpav/),
 * Could you please share a screencast (using Loom or a similar service) showing
   what happens here? Be sure to use a file with dummy data so that your real data
   isn’t exposed. I just need to see the UI issues so that I can try to replicate
   them on my end.

 * Hi [@ykipp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ykipp/),
 * Thank you. I tested with this file, and it works fine on multiple test sites,
   so there’s something odd going on here.
 * Could you please check the following things:
 * 1. Open your browser’s developer tools (right-click > Inspect on the page), then
   try a fresh import. In the “Network” tab, look for requests like: `admin.php?
   page=pmxi-admin-settings&action=upload&_wpnonce=...`. There should be one per
   chunk. Check if any of them return a status other than 200.
 * 2. It may help to verify whether the file is being uploaded completely. If you’re
   able to access your site files, check the most recently created folder inside`
   wp-content/uploads/wpallimport/uploads/`
   and see whether the uploaded file appears
   intact.
 * 3. You should also ask your hosting provider if there are any server-side restrictions
   or logs (such as firewall or security rules, or permission issues with the uploads
   folder) that might be interfering with the upload.
 * 4. If you’re using any firewalls or CDNs, please ensure they’re not blocking
   admin-side uploads.
 * Let me know what you find.

 * Hi [@ykipp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ykipp/),
 * Would it be possible for you to link us to a copy of a file that generates this
   error? You can replace the real data with dummy data since this is a public forum(
   Mockaroo is a tool that’s really good at generating dummy data).
