In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WordPress Backup & Migration Plugin] Fatal error after upgradeFor now, I just renamed the updraft directory using File Manager in cPanel. Since I’m not going to be doing a backup right now, it’s okay that it’s “off”.
Updating to 8.4.1 fixed the issue for me.
Although the front page of three of my sites were displayed correctly, I got a 500 error on all internal pages and when I tried to log into the backend. For now I’ve removed the plugin.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Various errors after latest updateI only renamed the backupwordpress folder under plugins to deactivate it and I could get back into my site. The changlelog states:
3.4.4 / 2016-02-23Ensure temporary files are correctly cleaned up before and after running a backup.
Avoid killing site if plugin is active on PHP 52
Allow custom secure key using filter

I tested the 3.4.4-beta and it worked fine on the sites where I installed it. They added additional stuff in the 3.4.4 that they pushed today and it’s the new stuff that killed it somehow.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] 3.4.3 update getting incorrect root directoryThanks Kat!
I have replaced the plugin on three of my sites (one root and two add-on domains) on a shared account. All three were able to successfully backup files without getting directories they shouldn’t.
My other unrelated issues were already taken care of.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] 3.4.3 update getting incorrect root directoryWhen you go to the Server Info screen, Site Root Path says: /home/myrootdomain/public_html
Since that is not correct, I added:
define( ‘HMBKP_ROOT’, ABSPATH . ‘myotherdomain/’ );Now when I go to the plugin screen I get: Your site root path /home/myrootdomain/public_html/myotherdomain/myotherdomain/ isn’t readable.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] 3.4.3 update getting incorrect root directoryWhen I go to my sites on BlueHost, I now get this error: BackUpWordPress will not work on this site: PHP Version 5.2.17 is unsupported. I’ve had to disable to plugin (by renaming via FTP) in order to get the site back up again.
I was able to reconfig PHP to 5.4 and then get back into the sites. Not sure why it reverted to an older version of PHP.
I had tried setting the root in the wp-config but didn’t have success. I may not be putting the correct information in between the single quotes.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] 3.4.3 update getting incorrect root directorypublic_html (root) – site at this level backups up correctly
-domain1 the plugin backups up this site as well as all others under root
–wp-content
–wp-includes
–wp-admin
–all wp root files
-domain2 (ditto)
–wp-content
etcIt seems to have resolved itself. I didn’t have to clear any browser cache but the dashboard appears to be functioning as usual.
Correction: When I tried to do the bulk update on plugins, nothing happened. I had to open the individual sites and update from there.

In reply to: [Constant Contact for WordPress] Plugin Breaks Hyperlink FunctionThe enable EventSpot is on the Plugin Settings page (Constant Contact > Constant Contact).
Found another thread that fixed the problem for me:
This worked for me: just remove the files/folders:
– File: /wp-content/advanced-cache.php
– Folder: /wp-content/cache/And try again. It will skip the missing function and install the correct files/folder for you.
Same error for me!
