But I still would have to manually click the “Temp Block” or “Blacklist IP” link for the applicable IP entry in the “404 Event Logs” table, am I correct? Sorry … * What I had in mind was that I can link a table to an existing data source (e. g. excel file) so that the content of the excel file will be loaded on every page load. But in addition to simply loading the whole content of the excel file into the table, I also want to be able to display the content of (for example) cell B22 via shortcode – anywhere I please! Maybe even individual rows and / or columns! * Imagine an excel file with lots of different calculations in it, which sits on an FTP server and is updated regularly via an FTP client. And you are not interested in displaying all the different calculations in WordPress, but only their individual results (which are displayed in cell B22, C22 and so on, for example). * If you could achieve that with wpDataTables…WOW!
