I’m really not happy about the change from using the them options to the wordpress customiser. It appears that we are able to customise much less than before. * Would access to the customiser address styles that appear to be set in the main. css file? I get a blank page when I try to go there with the child theme active. I went to Appearance – Themes, then click on the ‘customise’ button on the child theme since that is the active theme. I had background colour set to a dark grey, with light grey text. If you look at the pages in the site, I am seeing off-white background with white content area.
