 * Curiously, it’s not mentioned in the text, but if you look at the picture of 
   the text blocks (in your link), it’s the last one, bottom right.

 * No plugin. The last one in the list of “text blocks” is “footnotes”. From googling,
   I believe it exists since 2023.

 * By the way, I have now added (as a temporary solution) manual “footnotes”, as
   it were. But that should not be necessary. How to fix the actual footnote feature?
