SOLVED.
Turns out the site I was working on (for a client) didn’t have weight data on many of its products, so that was causing issues with the shipping calculations. Nothing to do with your plug-in.
Would still be great to know if there’s any chance of you adding the option to sort shipments based on Product Category.
Regards,
JonathanI should add, the same thing happens in Themes. Whilst this problem is occurring, I can change which them is Active.

In reply to: [Eway Payment Gateway] eway NZJust saw this in the FAQ:
Can I use other eWAY gateways, outside of Australia?
Not yet. There are plans to integrate eWAY’s Rapid Payments API sometime in 2013, so check back in a while. As it’s now 2016, it would be great to know where this currently stands.
Cheers,
Jonathan

In reply to: [footnotes] Below Post display issue with Divi ThemeSince posting this support request, I’ve realised just how easily I can use some custom CSS to resolve this issue. So I consider it resolved.

In reply to: [WP Server Health Stats] PHP "already defined constructor" errorHello ,

In reply to: Unexplainably, can't increase WP memory limitAlso, what are you using to determine that WordPress is locked at 40MB?
There are numerous plugins, even some themes, that display the WP MEMORY LIMIT. For instance, AVADA theme has a server status page that displays this. Also the plugin **Server IP & Memory Usage Display** displays it (as do a few others).

In reply to: Unexplainably, can't increase WP memory limitSolved it. Major oversight.
There was a comment in the wp-config.php that was not closed. Duh.
Case closed. Sigh of relief.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Unexplainably, can't increase WP memory limitHi James,
Thanks for responding.I have no issue raising the PHP memory limit.
This issue is specifically the WP memory allocation. As defined by WP_MEMORY_LIMIT.
It is locked in at 40MB, even though PHP has 512MB available.

In reply to: I can't stop site from using HTTPS / SSL ??Thanks. Although I am not sure how this answers my question.
In my situation, I am electing to NOT have my whole site constantly using SSL.
It is, however, doing just that. I would like to figure out why, and then stop it from doing so.

In reply to: Do I need to drop all tables before database restore?Great. Thanks. Looks like I managed to figure that specific detail out just about the time you were writing to tell me about it. Perhaps it reached me on the innernet.
Problem solved.
Great. Thanks.
I write nearly all my posts in MarsEdit. It’s been around for years, although still lacks support for WordPress Featured images. Yet most modern themes make big use of Featured images, so it’s a pain to have to upload the post (as a draft) and then add the image, and then publish it. I know most MarsEdit users find this a nuisance. So I was looking for a tag/markup based way to indicate what the featured image should be. I think it would be a great addition to your all-in-one Featured images plugin. Since the markup-to-featured-image plugin hasn’t seen no development in a long while.
What’s more, MarsEdit supports Markdown syntax, as does WordPress. I write all my posts using Markdown. So it makes sense (to me, at least) to also be able to specify the Featured image using some markup of some kind.
All the best…

In reply to: [footnotes] (Re)Location of footnotesGiving this further thought…
Might it be possible to define a new widget area that goes at the bottom of the post body, and then assign the footnotes output widget to that area?
I did try this, but the instructions I found on how to go about such a thing didn’t seem to be working out for me. Is this something you might be able to suggest an approach to?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [footnotes] (Re)Location of footnotesHi Mark,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I spent time fiddling around with trying to force the plug-ins to load according to my preference, to no avail. I also tried a plug-in that would allow me to control the order in which plug-ins load, but that also had no effect.
It’s a pity WordPress provides no GUI or code-based method or means to control the order of plug-in output. I’ll see if I can find a feature suggestion page for putting it forward.Cheers… Jonathan

In reply to: [footnotes] Styling SuperscriptLooks like this can now (if not a few weeks ago when you folk posted your workarounds), by putting your custom CSS into the Customize page of plugin settings, in the Add custom CSS to the public page section.
