 * Hi Rony P,
 * Sadly that ‘solution’ doesn’t help. David also told me to reset the settings 
   of the module but that also does not help us. we still have the issue described
   as the initial post. It seems that the ‘sequential order numbering’ part doesn’t
   work or connect to our order numbers. The custom prefix and number date prefix
   do show up.
 * As stated above the change was suddenly, since we’ve updated to WordPress 5.7.2
   and suddenly the new orders that came in were totally different order numbers
   than the order before the update.
 * After resetting the module, and numerous tries of ‘renumerating’ order numbers
   are still not fixed.
    PS. we’ve updated WordPress to 5.8 and Woocommerce to 5.5.2.
