The default page in twentytwentyfive theme, sometimes is shown right and sometimes not, but it is visible. I updated the plugin and cleared the cache, but nothing changed: the plugin works well in Chrome, Edge and Opera while in Firefox the consent bar is invisible. Before updating to 1.8.1, in Firefox both the text bar (no white background) and the tab overlaied the site, in transparency. Any other suggestion? I made experiments about custom-excerpt not properly working in your SportsMag theme. * First of all I tried to disable all the plugins. Nothing changed. After, I reinstalled WordPress 4.7.1 from the scratch. Nothing changed. I saw that custom excerpt were in the DB and came to the conclusion that the issue was in the theme. * So I started some tests. – I changed theme: with default themes twentyfifteen, twentysixteen and twentyseventeen the custom excerpt are visible. – With both AccessPressMag and SportsMag the custom excerpt: – aren’t visible in home page and some other pages with list of articles: for instance the month list of posts, the posts with a Tag, the list of post of one category, etc. – **are visible ONLY (for what I tested) in the result of a word-search** * I don’t know what do you mean telling that on your side the excerpt are working. I mean: could a site work well for two years and all of a sudden break down, without I made no modification? I think something changed in server configuration that made sicken the three WP Multisite I had built. * After a month from when the sites started to have problems, finally yesterday( in these days I’m very busy in other kind of editing and publishing stuffs) I found some hours to fix the issue, but I was forced to achieve a result, no time for rubs… * Now I’m in a crossroads: just few days before the above difficulties, I built a site ([http://locandailcampodellaquercia.com](http://locandailcampodellaquercia.com)) with WP multiuser. In the next days I’ll set up two more languages for that site. * I’m tempted to embark once again on WP MU, but I’ve no time for risk.
