Although I’m not sure whether we are talking about the same thing. * It’s not about full text vs. summary – Hoffman’s RSS feed _does_ show everything that is entered into the main content field in the WordPress admin area. However, if I choose the video or gallery post format where your template automatically generates a gallery from the pictures I uploaded to a post (without using WordPress shortcodes or so) or inserts the video through the respective meta field, these specific contents are _not_ included in the RSS, neither in the automatic subscription e-mail if you use the respective WordPress/Jetpack plugin. Same applies to the featured image. I tried it with both your demo site and mine, and several other blogs using the theme. * I’m not sure if I can make that clear, so maybe read [this blogpost](https://www.doitwithwp.com/saying-goodbye-post-formats/) to understand what I mean. The same blogger suggested [a workaround](https://www.doitwithwp.com/prepare-your-rss-feed-for-post-formats/) a while ago, but this certainly cannot be an permanent solution. So I guess that he is right and we indeed have to say goodbye to post formats. May I ask which RSS reader you use? I use feedly and also tested on bloglovin and several others, neither worked for me. You don’t have to do that, actually you only have to upload the photos to the respective article.
