If you want to disable the plugin by going to the individual edit page. The option is not available at this moment. It would be great if we could use the WordPress functions you’ve mentioned above. Unfortunately, according to the WordPress ecosystem, those conditions do not work for disabling the plugins. Due to that limitation, we can’t implement this. Anyway, we are trying to improve the user experience of using the plugin in alternative ways.
