However, I’m still quite concerned about the situation. The plugin has been closed since April 27, 2026, and because of this, it is currently impossible to perform any installs or updates. * Given the nature of the closure and the time that has already passed, I don’t have much confidence that this will be resolved or back to normal in the short term. The author obviously doesn’t care or listens at all. This thread was also heavily moderated. I enjoyed the plugin for many years but it has become very buggy, can’t afford to lose loading speed. * When you downgrade to 5.5.6.1 the problems magically disappear. Maybe the author of the plugin? * I also reverted back to the previous version on some of my websites but sometimes the problem still exists. Google/bing remains indexing /schema. After around 6 hours, after upgrading to WP5.9, Akismet performs like it used to. * There are no errors (not in the logs or anything else except for CF7). CF7/Akismet throws an English error even when language is set to Dutch. * Error in CF7: Error. Failed to send your message. CF7 just shows ‘error’ when trying to send the form. * For some reason Akismet just blocks the message. I can send you the Enfold theme if you want. * PS; i believe the new code (theme and wordpress) needed to settle in order for things to work properly.
