 * Well, it’s not super simple, but
 * a) Use photosmash and uploads are copied to the media library
    b) Link the photosmash
   gallery thumbs to the attachment page c) Users comment on the attachment page
 * Bottom line is photosmash doesn’t handle commenting, but WordPress does, so your
   going external to photosmash to handle comments.
 * It’s impossible to document how to do this, you must know wordpress/php enough
   to hack it yourself.

 * I haven’t found anything either. Photosmash is working fine, and as long as you
   don’t need to upgrade wordpress, why upgrade?
 * Just leave things as they are 🙂

 * Osakamitu, I think search is a photosmash-extend feature, I have no search and
   rely heavily on Photosmash for my websites.
 * I’m not sure any other plugin or wordpress feature does what Photosmash does —
   end user uploading of content in a steamlined fashion is still not exactly easily
   found or done.

 * To answer questions:
 * a) The new version of allure resolved the search issue (on first pass, but I
   will do a detailed test)
 * b) I have some ‘featured’ listings at the bottom of the main page, these are
   the links that point to websitename/APIkeyID and go to ‘not found’ page. Still
   the same in new allure version.

 * Sorry, B) should read, links to listings from the main page are websitename/APikeyID
   and link to ‘not found’

 * I see. We have a group of moderators, and would prefer if we could subject them
   to moderation too (that way, they cannot approve their own uploads)
 * And of course, if their shot is deleted, they probably want to know why.
 * Nonetheless, we can work around this by setting a policy and asking everyone
   to honour it..!

 * Oh and applying watermark… almost any image operation cannot be relied on at
   these sizes!

 * I have the same problem. 3008×2000 pixels. SOMETIMES i can re-size to 1024×768
   and it will do a few of them… most often it won’t, just one at a time
 * Even creating thumbnails will fail, after a certain (random) percentage.
    I turned
   up limits in php.ini and gd.imagelibrary and nothing…. no matter what I do.
 * Any help is appreciated, folks!

 * I am having somewhat similar issues.
 * Re-size will fail, randomly after a couple images.
 * Automatic re-size also failed..
 * I need to bulk re-size the images.. on a regular basis.
 * I changed the gd.memorylimit to 256 megs..
