 * I went into my Editor and found the content-single.php and deleted the following
   code
 * <?php if ( (function_exists(‘has_post_thumbnail’)) && (has_post_thumbnail()) ){
   the_post_thumbnail(array( 200,200 ), array( ‘class’ => ‘post_thumbnail’ )); }?
   >
 * you might have to delete an extra line or two for it to work. It worked right
   after this. no longer having image show up in blog post.
