Half right – I am frustrated, but I don’t blame the plugin! 🙂 I’m frustrated for a few reasons:
1) How does this not just work straight out of the box in WordPress, particularly when so many themes describe themselves as “retina-ready”?
2) Why is this thread the only Google result for this problem, ie why is no-one else struggling with the same issue?
3) I’ve had a look at the CSS and haven’t yet worked out how to do it – and I *hate* not being able to understand things!
I don’t expect answers to those questions, just wanted to point out why I’m not annoyed with plugin but with other things instead! I’ll keep working on it and hopefully will get somewhere; will update this thread if so, just in case anyone else runs across the same problem with their theme(s) in future.
OK, thanks. I’ve tried with three themes now and it’s the same throughout so looks like I’ll be going back to standard resolution images!
