Are you asking why I am asking for help from people who recommended another person with the same problem switch to a template? Well, I didn’t see that a similar question had been asked until just a few minutes ago. I guess I don’t understand the painful part. Many of the sites I read daily are using a similar scheme to what I’m proposing, involving a background image in the #rap with content and menu div’s inside. I don’t feel like I’m trying to reinvent the wheel here, and so I’m frustrated as to what’s keeping it from working. I found this post where they had the same problem. It’s now aligned, except for some strange thing going on with Opera which leaves room at the top. That’s why it’s smaller.
