 * Thanks for the reply and well spotted.
 * I’ve had a dig through all my event posts and I’d had a couple of span classes
   around some links, but the closing tag on one of them was <s/pan> instead of 
   </span> – Simple typo but that was causing all kinds of grief!

 * yes I did fix it in the end…
 * DO you have the divi theme installed by any chance? If so, its to do with the
   archive settings conflicting..
 * Head to Divi > Theme Options > General Settings > Number of Post displayed on
   Archive pages
 * Change that number to 10 or what you have as the number of events to show in 
   our settings.
 * That should fix the issue.
