 * Thanks for the update. I also noticed that the flood of attacks is slowing but
   not quite stopped.
 * The SQL injection attack is somewhat concerning though. I don’t have any of those
   plugins on any of my sites but that means the problem is more wide-spread.

 * Okay, I deactivated NextGen then uploaded a new copy of the plugin version .33
   and re-activated.
 * It’s now working and the errors have gone away. So apparently a corrupted file
   somewhere.
 * It’s very odd that on two separate sites the same thing would happen, using the
   built-in wordpress update mechanism.
 * However both are working again now.

 * The WordPress Updates page, using the Plugins update option.
 * I had to download the .31 version of NextGen and use my ftp client to overwrite
   the .33 version.
 * Both sites now back running, and both break again when I try to update to .33–
   using my ftp client, not the WordPress updater

 * Downgrading back to .31 resolves the problems on both sites. Both sites are nearly
   identical in configuration and plug-ins, both up-to-date with WP 4.0.1 and plugins.
   The update to .33 definitely broke this.

 * Wow, just found this plugin and now hear it may no longer be actively developed.
   I find it invaluable and would be willing to pay to ensure it stays alive.
 * Let’s get some community support for this, there’s nothing else like it that 
   works as well. I was happy when the spam registrations stopped but shocked at
   the number of attacks recorded per day. We need tools like this to help us protect
   our sites.

 * Me too. Can’t insert a Singlepic any more.
 * Where can we download earlier versions of the plugin? The automatic update is
   a killer. I’d like to downgrade to 2.0.21 so my site will actually be usable.
