Hi,
I’m not able to send the test mail, y get this error all the time when I try:
SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
And I can fallow the troubleshooting because I’m on a Bluehost shared server, this is why I contact them, but they told me that the problem is the Plugin.

Yes I use this config:
SMTP: smtp.gmail.com
Encryption: TLS
Port: 587SMTP Authentication YES
With the USERNAME and PASS of the account.
I have the same problem, I contact the host and they told me this:
Joel, since there is an issue on the WP SMTP, the best option is to contact them and get the issue fixed. I have made all the required changes on the account. However, that did not work as there is an issue on the plugin.
