 * did like been told, but i get a wordpress error:
 * Can’t select database
 * We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and
   password is okay) but not able to select the v154547 database.
 *  * Are you sure it exists?
    * On some systems the name of your database is prefixed
   with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the
   problem?
 * the database is definitely there, i checked with phpmyadmin.
    whats wrong here,
   please ?

 * well i did !!
    only thing not working like the tutorial is creating the datatbase
   with “utf8 unicode ci” options, because its with underscores “utf8_unicode_ci”.
 * did the rest exactly. no success !!

 * still, the issue is NOT resolved !!
    i installed everything from scratch again.
   fresh xampp lite with mysql 4.1.12 and php 5.0.4, fresh wordpress install. the
   wordpress database is empty.
 * so just WHY do i get the “already installed” error ?! … “pls clear ur old database
   table” is just not workin.
 * heeeelp !

 * i deleted the database, and then reinstalled XAMPP. no effect.
 * atm, i got XAMPP uninstalled. is there a way to check if the / any mysql database
   is still alive ?
 * … fuckin hell, if i only looked first; think i could have reset the passy with
   ur help 🙁
