 * Update: I think I figured it out. The wp-config.php changes cause the problem.
Without them, it seems to work fine.
 * If that presumption is wrong, please let me know.

 * Actually, most iPhone apps are free for the consumer. Most Android apps are as
   well.
 * You are obviously looking at this from a different perspective than I am. I’m
trying to make a plug-in for WordPress work and it doesn’t. If that’s OK with
   you, fine.
 * Non-.org free plug-ins should be subjected to the same scrutiny as those on .
org, especially if I can search, research and install them from within WP which
is how I used this one in the first place.
 * You’ve endorsed, by association, these apps by allowing us to view them from
   within WordPress.
 * By default, WP, WP.org or whatever other WordPress-branded sites are out there
need to understand that your entire franchise suffers by taking the attitude
you are towards those of us that are supposed to be benefiting from your solution,
service and 3rd party plug-ins that you promote in various ways.

 * That’s like saying the quality of iPhone apps, free or not, are of no concern
   to Apple.
 * If you want people to use WordPress, there should be some level of QA on these
apps to minimize the pain and suffering those of us that use them go through.
 * WP has enabled them and taking a “support issues are strictly between you & the
   vendor” stance is short-sighted.

 * I sent in a request on Monday and haven’t heard back either. Gotta wonder whether
WP cares enough to vet these plug-in providers.
 * I get “internal server errors” when trying to change any label for any field.
 * Weird.
