 * I contacted my server host and he said that where i was gong wrong was that i
   needed to have the username the same as the database name and they werent so 
   thats why mine wasnt working – hope that helps people

 * i’ve kept my host as localhost
 * but its just not registering – there is another topic just down from this one
   and the guy there seems to have the exact same problem…
 * Is this just summit with wordpress 2.8 or are we both doing something wrong????
