In reply to: Image Upload Problemswow, who would’ve thought the plugin to help you minimize image load would turn out to be the problem? thanks for the update on that. I just disabled and images uploading like they were before.
guess the WP update didn’t agree with the SmushIt plugin. Hopefully they’ll update that one soon too.

In reply to: Image Upload ProblemsI thought I was the only one! I’m having the exact same problems, and I checked with my server (on dedicated), all browsers and it keeps giving me the HTTP error too.
This is the first time this has happened so hopefully there’s an answer.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Fork and Fix W3 Total CacheThank goodness! I’d just as willing to pay to get this thing working right with CDN and everything. Just trying to find someone who knows what they’re doing to get the plugin working correctly would be great!
Thanks for that update texoweb. It’s odd that a lot of support tickets are going unanswered with a plugin that is recommended by wordpress and so many others.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify on manual does not workwhat I had to do for my site after the 3.3 upgrade was delete all the js and css files out of Minify and then do the wizard thing and put them back on one by one. This isn’t so easy since you have to make sure that there in the right order that your page loads.
The wizard can be pretty good about making sure that they’re in the right order when you start from scratch like that though. It took about an hour to tinger and tweak, but minify on manual is now working again.
It’s a great plugin, but it can be a real moody sucker!

In reply to: W3 Total Cache issue with 3.3dang, you’re lucky to be able to have minify in auto mode. most of us have to do the manual way and trying to get all those scripts in the right order with the right blocking/non-blocking takes a long time.
the switch to 3.3 definitely changes things with this plugin.

In reply to: [Jetpack Lite] [Plugin: Jetpack Lite] Nice Workthank you so much for this one! This was the only part I used of Jetpack, but the entire plugin really slowed down my site. This one didn’t affect my download speed at all unlike Jetpack which added nearly 3 seconds!
I hope you keep updating this one as there are many of use who appreciate it!

In reply to: W3 Total Cache issue with 3.3I’m sure the developer is aware of the minify issues and since this wasn’t updated during the final beta stages of 3.3, it’s in the works.
Hey Joost,
I’m having the same issue with the gallery images (Nextgen Gallery) where it just shows a number of images and not the individual ones. I saw that whatever magic you did with neustop’s showed all the images and alts.
Just seeing if there’s something I can do to adjust for this too.
Thanks so much!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Unable to build site map with W3 Total Cache onhas anyone been able to find out a solution other than constantly deactivating W3TC? All my sitemaps are being seen as HTML by Google Webmaster tools when W3TC is on, but once I turn it off, all good.
After all this time, there’s got to be an answer to this one.
I’m hoping that someone on the W3 Total Cache forum has had this issue and knows what to put in to keep it from changing the sitemaps into HTML.
When you deactivate W3TC, sitemaps are perfect, it’s just when its running that problems happen.
oh the fun:)

In reply to: W3 Total Cache issue with 3.3I’ve had a time with W3 TC too with both CDN (I use MaxCDN, and even they’re truly stumped) and minify.
I wound up just disabling the JS part of minify and kept the CSS and that’s been working okay.
Hopefully since there’s so many issues going on with minify, the next update will help.
it stays the same. it’s only when I turn off W3 TC that it gets wonky. what’s interesting it that Google still picks my news stories but the Webmaster Tools does the HTML error.
Over on the Webmaster Tools, they just tell people to go to a site that makes your sitemaps for you, but c’mon, those of us with very busy sites with breaking news just don’t want to create a new sitemap by hand everytime you post a story (most of us 6-10 per day).
it’s only doing it to the sitemap-news for some reason.
In W3 TC, I have sitemap.xml listed for caching, but I’ve noticed on a search in Google Webmaster Tools, a lot of people are having this issue with their sitemaps. I thought it was an issue with the WordPress SEO plugin, but when your came up like that too, I knew something was going on.
When I deactivate W3TC though, it’s fine which led me to think that there might be something with that since that’s gotta be one of the most temperental (but effective) plugins I’ve ever seen.
