Sorry for taking so long to get back to you! For some reason, it seems like I didn’t get an email notification for Kelly’s response, only Ojoma’s.

We do have WooCommerce, but my husband has never placed an order through our store.

Oh, I should have included the subscriber history information from the start. It says that he unsubscribed from newsletters he received (repeatedly), except that he never did that. In fact, it’s impossible, since the last one was before 5am and he’s not even awake that early! This is what it looks like:

I have been having an issue with this as well. The only workaround I have found is to change the status to “draft”. This will restore the permalink and allow the author to preview without publishing the post.

I hope, however, that the developer will find a way to restore the permalink for custom statuses, so that this isn’t necessary. Not much sense in having custom statuses for non-public posts if you have to change them every time you want to preview changes.

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your experience. Now I know why I was still getting brute-force attacks on my website with this plugin. I removed it for an unrelated issue, but at least I am clear on why it’s not worth my time to try any other plugins of this type. Really appreciate it!

I’m having the same issue since the latest update of WordPress. I use the classic editor and it is critical that I am able to access the HTML editor, whether I am adding a new post or editing an existing one. I use it to add things like highlighting and CSS classes.

I have disabled the plugin and await a fix. I know that your goal is to have a plugin that requires no options, but either this feature should be disabled in the backend or there should be options for those who want them (i.e. everything is disabled by default, but you can allow some things through if you need them).

Looking forward to being able to use this plugin again, because other than this one issue, it’s great! Thanks for your hard work, Mr. Tellado!

PS: There are some plugins that might be incompatible with the block editor, but I think many, probably most, are essentially made obsolete by the block editor, anyway. For example, there are plugins that add things like tables to your post, but the block editor is able to insert columns and such all on its own.

I will add one thing to the above (very good) reply. The Gutenberg project is eventually supposed to replace, not just the editor of posts and pages, but the entire website building experience. This is why some themes have been built to reflect the block editor, so that they will be prepared for that eventuality.

If you want to be best prepared for that future, so you don’t have to pick a new theme or relearn anything, it would probably be best both to learn the block editor (even if you still use “classic mode” like Joy mentioned) and to get a block-friendly theme.

I manage two WP sites and one is still using the classic editor, but the newer one uses the block editor and the Blocksy theme. It works very well.

Ah, thank you! I avoid putting my smart phone online as much as possible, but I did try using a mobile emulator on my browser and it worked just fine. Phew! There’s no better solution to a problem than discovering you have no problem, ha!

I officially have no complaints about this theme. Love it! 😀 Thanks again!

PS: This is unrelated, but how do you change your profile image here on WP.org? I couldn’t find the option when I was editing my profile.
