 * Please, can someone take a look at the problem I encounter? I am at a complete
   loss.
 * I have submitted a bug report for the site and also have contacted Automattic.
   Still no replies.
 * I am out of options here. sigh…

 * Seems like nobody cares about my problem…
 * Folks, I have spent my time and have written some plugins for WordPress and I
   would like to submit them in the WP plugin directory.
 * Please, could anyone check what the heck is wrong with my account and why my
   plugin submissions are not processed? As I have explained, I suspect that the
   problem is the spam filter (akismet probably). 1 or two years ago I had a problem
   with Akismet, but the folks at Automattic had fixed it. WordPress.org is the
   only place I still have trouble with. Please fix this broken thing.
 * Thanks in advance.

 * It took this message almost 1 day to appear in the forum. I am afraid that the
   spam filter used on the forum is blocking my messages.
 * I am also pretty sure that the very same spam filter is used for the plugin submission
   requests. And if this is so, then my submission has most probably been held by
   this spam filter.
 * Please advise.

 * I have tried to set up a multisite wordpress installation (without using wordpress-
   mu). I can say that it is possible using a drupal-style technique, but there
   should be some flexibility regarding the absolute path to wp-content/, so that
   users can have their own plugins and themes. This is what has caused the most
   issues so far and has required to make modifications to the core WordPress files.

 * @_MTO_ & @_kmonty_:
    The _more-feed-excerpt_ plugin does exactly this: Splits
   the posts and feed entries at the exact point you specify in the document with
   the “_more_ tag, only if you have set your blog to serve **full-text** feeds.
   If you set it to serve summaries, then you get an excerpt calculated by wordpress(
   the first N words), despite the fact the plugin is enabled. This is the plugin’s
   functionality by design and it works (as expected) according to this concept.
 * Here are some notes though, just in case any of the following has happened:
 * I would recommend against using Firefox’ Live Bookmarks to test this feature
   as it always shows the excerpt that is calculated by Wordress (first N words).
   Note that this excerpt **always** exists inside the feed, even if it contains
   the full text.
 * Finally, temporarily disable any plugins that cache your content in order to
   test such features.
 * Thanks for your feedback.

 * Version 0.2.0 has been released.
 * The major change is that **all** 4 types of the _entries feeds_, _RSS 2.0_, _Atom
   1.0_, _RDF_, _RSS 0.92_, are now cached.
 * _Note_: The old version cached the RSS 2.0 feed only and delivered that one in
   place of all other formats. This does not happen any more.

 * [@rawalex](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rawalex/): I agree with you, but
   it seems there are lots of people who want to deliver full-text feeds, while
   splitting the posts at the “more” tag on the web.

 * I see. Thanks.
 * I contacted the akismet team and look forward to a resolution of the problem.
   Akismet is 100% wrong in this case.

 * I am also interested in such an installation scenario.
 * I will also try to experiment and report back any findings.

 * I had the same problem with the change of behavior regarding the use of the <!–
   more–> tag by the feed generators. I wrote a small plugin that reverts the functionality
   back to what we have been used to. It requires no configuration.
 * The plugin is called [more-feed-excerpt](http://www.g-loaded.eu/2008/05/08/more-feed-excerpt-wordpress-plugin/).
   The name could be better, but, well, it does the job 🙂
