Mate, I don’t have to explain to you anything. There is no sql dump in the last archive and I didn’t get any errors when I did the backup. I did a test backup now and yes, I got a dump of the empty database.
You get upset when people accuse your plugin of errors? Then deal with them. Why doesn’t your plugin create and save a log file of its own? That’s a basic thing in troubleshooting. How do you want to support people who migrated to a new server and have no access to old server logs? And how about that? Add information like “be sure to check there’s an sql file in the last archive because backing up with this plugin is basically a roulette”.
