 * Hi [@wfgerald](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wfgerald/)
 * It came back this morning 😮 after no changes, again.
 * No idea what would cause this random on/off but I’m going to look at it now.
   I do use a caching plugin to minify scripts so perhaps that’s a clue.
 * Thanks again
 * Gina

 * Hey [@wfgerald](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wfgerald/)
 * Before doing anything else, I saw that Wordfence needed updating to version 7.4.6
   this morning so went ahead and did that using a non-2FA admin login.
 * Then I intended to sort this issue out, only to find that 2FA is now working
   again on all admin accounts, without me doing anything – other than the plugin
   update.
 * I ought to mention this has happened before, _without_ my updating Wordfence.
   2FA gave me the same error, and the next day (with no changes or updates, not
   even updating Wordfence) it resolved itself.
 * Still no wiser!
 * Thanks
 * Gina

 * Thanks for the reply [@wfgerald](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wfgerald/)
 * I’ll give it another go and report back. Out of interest should I focus my attention
   on the JQuery error? I think my theme is loading it asynchronously, if at all.
 * Thanks,
 * Gina

 * Hi [@wfgerald](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wfgerald/)
 * Thanks for the reply… here’s the [screenshot](http://ginawaggott.com/pfc_screen.jpg).
 * I’m not using Woocommerce or similar, I’ve always used the standard /wp-admin
   login as far as I’m aware.
 * I have enabled JQuery on my theme (which was disabled) and still getting the
   same message. Though I didn’t update the theme or any plugins when this started
   happening – I did move host, however.
 * Any insights appreciated!
 * Thanks
 * Gina
