 * You’re not alone in experiencing this. I ran into the same problem (not WordPress

   I think that if your server has HTTPS it might not have the problem, but not 
   100% certain yet.

 * Found this while I continued Googling… might not fix everyone’s problem but it
   fixed mine.
 * In .htaccess in your web directory you can define a web file to open before others.
   Do:
 * DirectoryIndex web_file_to_open_before_index.php
 * Works nicely.
