 * SwansonPhotos – Thanks much for your help.
 * No site link yet because I pulled the code off and was working only on localhost(
where the problem also showed up.)
 * But it’s apparently solved now. I started from scratch, created a new DB, reinstalled
WordPress. The only difference this time is that I created the menu before I
created the child theme instead of after. (Previously the child theme was activated
when I created the menu.) Just commenting on the process — I doubt this is cause&
   effect.
 * It works and I have no idea why 😛
 * Thanks again for your help.

 * Yep Javascript is enabled. Just tried with IE9. IE9 shows this correctly.

 * Ah – thanks. I never heard of it and thought it was a WP thing 😛

 * Thanks for the reply, Mateus. I already used another plugin instead of simpleCaptcha
but I’ll keep your fix in mind for the next captcha I need !

 * I’m noticing that it says (on this site) that “this topic is resolved”. Did anyone
see what that resolution was ??

 * I’ve got the same problem. Trying to log in as the admin (after letting some
months pass without logging on) with the correct password but getting a blank
screen. Is there a definitive way to solve this ?
