 * Okay. I just confirmed that in my case, it had something to do with widgets.php.
   I just recopied the 2.3.1 version of widgets.php then customized it a bit for
   my own use. The point is that I replaced the widgets.php file and it solved my
   drag-n-drop problem.

 * BTW, I didn’t update my widgets.php because I altered some codes in there.

 * Update on Simple Tagging Plugin v1.7… the plug-in is now being succeeded by Simple
   Tags 1.0.1 written by the same author as the Simple Tagging Plugin

 * Oh I see. I just spent almost 4 hours scratching my head and asking myself why
   the current Simple Tagging plugin (1.7) still doesn’t work. I thought it was 
   already fixed since the one posted in the Known Issues section only mentioned
   of the Release Candidate version of WordPress 2.3, not the Final (which was just
   released).
 * I use the same function of Simple Tagging that BLT-FQX uses (Related Posts). 
   I also had the same results with stribe37. I guess I’ll just have to wait for
   an update and disable the plugin for a while.

 * Oh I see. Okay, I’ll try to overwrite my includes folder since I’m not using 
   any language files anyway.
