I used instructions from [here](http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/resetting-permissions.html). * Then I used instructions from [WP](https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password) to change the wp password, using the option to have SQL compute the hash. When I connect to the database, I can see the hash value is now different, but I still can’t login to WP with the password I specified. * I double checked, and I was using the correct database, and I did everything according to instructions, but I still can’t login to the site. I was using the gn_ shortcode. * 1) After I update the plugin, shortcodes WILL BE messed up, but after I apply _Shortcodes > Settings Add gn\_ to Shortcodes prefix * then they will go back to normal, right? * 2) Has there been any word from the author on what should we expect in the future– will the shortcodes be changed again? Will the compatibility mode work? Sitemap, widgets etc. all use categories and I need to find a way to prevent display of categories. * For instance, every site has a listing of categories.
