I have unfortunately noticed that the system would not treat two versions of the same product (say English and another language) as one when it comes to inventory. It simply does not work. I have also tried different WooCommerce Polylang plug-ins but no results. In Settings > Permalinks, I left Category base blank and used [shop base]/[product category base] as Product category base * I had tried a number of combinations without success.
