 * i was just went to reactivate the plugin so I could take a screen capture of 
   the error and now it seems to have went through (even though it was literally
   4 times before with the error coming up EVERY TIME)..
 * did someone disconnect the domain???
 * makes no freaking sense.

 * thats exactly what I mean. i am trying to connect to jetpack through my own wordpress
   installation
 * i cant restore access because i have no clue what user id it is or what email
   i used to set it up.
 * its been so long ago that I no longer have access.
 * i have gotten back into 3 other wordpress.com accounts that I have connected 
   to other domains but not to the one that is connected to fredbeers.com
 * if there was a way that I can search and find it, i could probably figure it 
   out on my own.
 * but as of right now. i have no way of doing that hence my inquiry here..

 * thankyou for the reply. the domain is the issue.
 * the domain is already registered with jetpack.
 * doing what you suggest will accomplish nothing because the domain is still registered
   in an account I cannot access.
 * the error message i get has to do with the domain.
 * i need to get that old account with my domain name attached to it to be canceled.
 * i have no way of doing that. so essentially my whole domain name is held for 
   ransom.
