 * Sorry but I do not have the skills to do as you suggest. I wonder: what problem
   can cause other users if you modify the standard version of pdb-list-default 
   and pdb-list-multisearch, expecting that edit-link is visible only if the administrator
   has provided this field in the Database Field Manager ? It seems to me that it
   will be useful for many and solved with a if .. then .. else.Thanks for your 
   patience.

 * In this way every time the pugin is upgraded you lose your changes and you have
   to add them back (recently happened twice).
    I propose to Xnau: please insert
   firmly the code as described in your article because those who want to turn on
   the “edit” function will add the field “EDIT_LINK” as written in the documentation
   knowing that the edit column becomes visible in the front-end only if “column
   display” is set to value greater than 0. to me it works!

 * I can confirm that it also works with multisite!
