 * I’m not going to go back and remove every link from a decade and a half of posts.
   So do I just opt out of jetpack? Uninstall it? I’ve been paying annually, so
   how long is that good for?

 * Nick-Thank you, but the problem with Safari was not that I could not see the
   Instagram widget photos, it’s that none of the post photos, nor the images in
   the header and footer with the blog’s name are showing.
    Can you see all the
   post photos and the “wired2theworld” title in the header and footer in Safari?

 * In addition, in Safari, none of my post images are showing on the main page,
   but the photos in the Instagram widget DO show. I don’t understand why this is
   happening.

 * It looks like the issue is with Smush Pro’s CDN hosting. If I turn that off,
   things work fine in Chrome and Edge. It shouldn’t be that way though.
    IE is
   still not working properly but so few people use that anymore, I guess it’s ok.

 * I’m still hoping to hear from someone who has updated to the latest version of
   WordPress, 5.7, and uses Dyad 2.
    _Anyone? Anyone?_ As for other themes, I use
   one called Bard on one of my blogs and I like that very much. It’s frequently
   updated, likely because there is also a paid version (I use the free one). I
   will probably end up replacing Dyad 2 with Bard or something that is more up-
   to-date. I can’t risk it breaking when WordPress does an update.

 * Hello-
 * I’m not looking to update Dyad 2, I have the latest version. I’m looking for
   people who have **updated to the latest version of WordPress, 5.7**. If Dyad
   2 hasn’t been updated since 2019, it’s very possible things could break with
   the latest WP update.

 * Thanks. I installed health check and discovered that my PHP was 7.3 instead of
   7.4 so I updated that. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to figure out if a specific
   plugin was causing the problems using their troubleshooting because I think the
   plugin conflicts were specific to the theme.
    I then ran a PHP compatibility
   checker plugin and discovered that two plugins (get your guide, and booking.com)
   had issues. I deleted both and now everything seems to be working!

 * Supernovia-
 * Thanks. I installed health check and discovered that my PHP was 7.3 instead of
   7.4 so I updated that. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to figure out if a specific
   plugin was causing the problems.
    I disabled Jetpack’s Lazy Load and Site Accelerator
   and the photos on the individual posts are now showing, but the other issues
   are still happening; the featured image slider is not working nor are the widget
   images. I’m also missing the links to the dashboard at the tip of the page when
   viewing the main site. So, after writing all of the above, I ran a PHP compatibility
   checker plugin and discovered that two plugins (get your guide, and booking.com)
   had issues. I deleted both and now everything seems to be working! I re-enabled
   the jetpack settings too.

 * Gemma-
    That worked great! Thank you so much!! I even like the yellow color.
   🙂 Here’s to hoping it will encourage people to comment.
 * Thanks again!

 * I got this message too tonight. I have a self-hosted site. Should I be worried?
   What does this mean? What should I do (if anything)?

 * How is this child theme any different from Dyad 2? It looks identical.

 * Wow! Thank you! All of those worked perfectly.
    Is there no way to do this through
   the customization screen under Typography?
 * Also, I’d like the “Older Posts” button to be more visible. Thoughts on that?

 * I know, but I want it all. 🙂
    I want the flexibility to pick which posts (and
   if I could, which Pages) show in the slider and be able to select the order as
   well.I’d also like to pick which show in blog’s main page, rather than all or
   nothing. Forgive me, I’m coming from a heavily customizable theme to this one,
   and while I like it, there are parts which are frustrating.

 * Hmmm. They appear in date order already. I’m not sure I want to change the date
   on older posts because that would mean they would show up on the front page as
   well, right?
