 * I have database backups, from the 17th, I want to go back to that database because
   nothing was broken then.
 * How do I do that, and then maybe import the articles published after the 17th?
   
   Surely there must be a way.

 * how so?
 * I believe the problem to not be present on the 17th, hence wanting to go back
   to that point without losing anything that was published after the 17th.

 * Thanks for your comment Courtney. Yes I do use Disqus for my comments but it 
   worked before and even after removing disqus completely it doesn’t fix it.

 * The sidebar on the right comes into the page and the questions
    It’s also not
   possible to comment because I use disqus, why is that? And if it can’t be changed,
   can I at least somehow turn commenting on questions and answers off completly?
