 * OK, just found this while looking through the admin menu, in Manage > Files :
 * “Note: of course, you can also edit the files/templates in your text editor of
   choice and upload them. This online editor is only meant to be used when you 
   donâ€™t have access to a text editor or FTP client.”
 * If my understanding is right, my CHMOD problem will prevent the WP file editor
   from working, but I can always edit my theme files in my code editor and upload
   them afterwards. That way I’ll leave the default theme untouched.

    I see… WP creates 15 new files in the themes\theme-name\ directory,
   and 5 files in the themes\theme-name\images\ directory, hence the 15+5 errors.
   I haven’t looked into the “theming” of WP yet, but does this mean I’ll have to
   just delete the new theme folder and modify the default theme ?
