The Permalinks were already set to “Plain” but I refreshed the Permalinks and cleared the W3 Total Cache and that seems to have sorted the problem. * Once again, many thanks for you help and great support. However, when I am on the staging site and go to any page it looks like it jumps back to the live site. I managed to find something about increasing the max_input_time to 180 (php.ini) on a Divi Theme forum and that did the trick.
