 * Oh and the file appears to have been deleted ! Am I up the creek ? Surly there’s
   a way of creating a new parent catagory and linking it to the header ?

 * OK so what do I do with the plug. . sorry you’ll really have to walk me though
   this one, I’ve had such a nightmare I’m really, really scared to do anything 
   in case it brings it all crashing down ?? Step by step if that isn’t too much
   hassle. I promise I’ll go to Codex school!

 * PHEW! OK had exam dreams all last night, so now your dealing with a sleep deprived,
   coffee-ridden, angst-engulfed, nerd novice. . . . . . .
    Without a clue. . . 
   I think its the wp that’s down. I”m wondering if I need to reinstall it ? and
   how to do that ?.
 * The info is on the database (and I have back ups) but I’m not able to access 
   my wp-admin, that makes me think that its nolonger linked in. . but I don’t know
   how to check it on MySqL or MyPhpAdmin ?

 * I didn’t get as far as loading a new version, I just did the back up as per the
   instructions when I logged onto my WP Admin (down bottom of page where they have
   upgrade) but as I’m using version out of the arc I also logged on to WP and did
   back other back up. Its when that had been completed that I tried to log back
   onto WP to back up my WP files that I found (a) I couldn’t log on as the wp-admin..
   it gave me the Error establishing a database connection. Saying the info in my
   wp-config.php file is incorrect for can’t connecct to the database server at 
   localhost ? (b) thus with I put the url address in. . . I get the same message.
   I know its something really feckin’ simple. . but can’t for the life of me find
   where it is I make the connection. Are you getting me ???
