 * I have a similar problem, a couple of months to now.
    After installing “Mesmerize
   Companion” I can not enter in the page anymore.
 * First, I thought the problem was updating the theme, but the real problem it 
   was this plug in. After activating it, my homepage is not available anymore (
   the rest of the pages is ok).
